Rutgers University Student Assembly
The official governing body for undergraduate students at Rutgers University-New Brunswick
Student Body President: Christopher Godoy
Student Body Vice-President: Lilly Sousa
Student Body Treasurer: Sam Meiyzs
The Rutgers University Student Assembly (RUSA) is the official governing body representing all undergraduate students at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. RUSA advocates on behalf of students at the university, state, and federal levels by actively engaging with administrators, stakeholders, and legislators to advance student interests. It legislates through bills and resolutions that enact meaningful projects and provide a forum for open student expression. Additionally, RUSA allocates and manages over two million dollars in funding for more than 450 student organizations and councils through the RUSA Allocations Board. Through town halls, events, and surveys, RUSA ensures that every Scarlet Knight has a voice and a seat at the table.
Since its creation, RUSA has led efforts that have transformed the student experience here at Rutgers. RUSA is more than just a student government. We are proof that student voices are more powerful together.
