Cosponsorship Application
If your organization is looking to cosponsor an event with a Campus Council or Professional Council, please fill out the following form. If the form does not work properly, you may download the form and fill it out.
- Organizations should be registered with University Student Centers Office of Student Involvement and/or New Brunswick-wide organizations with a viewpoint-neutral manner and established according to legal precedent (this includes fraternities, sororities, club sports, etc).
- Monetary support for a cultural/social event or activity that will enhance student life at Rutgers University is at the sole discretion of the Campus Council or Professional school council.
- Co-sponsorships can be used towards advertising, refreshments, or any other aspects of the event cost as approved by RUSA allocations guidelines.
- A member of the organization must fill out the “Co-Sponsorship Application”. After completing the applicant, please email it to one of the campus council treasurers (which ever campus council you are seeking funding from).
- An itemized budget of the actual event, AS WELL AS, the organization’s budget for the current semester must be included with the application. The deadline for applications is rolling. Applications must be reviewed by a campus council.
- A member of the organization, preferably the treasurer or event coordinator, must attend a co-sponsorship hearing. This meeting is to be scheduled with the treasurer of the campus council.
- At the hearing, the details of the event will be reviewed with the organization member. Upon campus council approval, the committee will write a bill for the approval of the campus council.
- Organizations are asked to send a representative to the Campus Council/Professional School Council meeting when the bill is presented in order to answer any questions. One week later, your bill will be voted on and you will be notified as to the status of your co-sponsorship.
